96 branches of the 347 MicroFinance Companies placed into receivership remain open for receivership business Accra 23rd October 2019:

The Receiver has designated 96 branches of the 347 MicroFinance Companies (MFCs) placed into receivership as operational branches, to serve the customers of these institutions as well as the customers of other MFCs whose licenses have been revoked. This means that, the Receiver’s team will cease to operate from any branch of the affected MFCs which has not been listed.

Stakeholders are advised to visit these 96 operating branches nearest to the MFC branches which the Receiver has shut down, for loan repayments and any other enquiries relating to the receivership of their affected MFCs.  For the list of branches still in operation, visit the website of the radio station.  (List included)

Please note that the working hours for the maintained MFC branches is from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Mondays to Fridays.

The Receiver continues to make payments to the extent possible, to depositors whose claims in the receiverships have been duly validated and admitted. Debtors of the affected 347 MFCs who have not fully settled their obligations to their MFCs should do so at the operational branches designated as their branches as soon as possible.
